Newly launched Pathfinder Student activities feature opportunities for Stanford undergraduates and co-terminal master's students to build business acumen, get the inside scoop from today's business leaders, and apply their thinking to real-world challenges.

Pathfinder Perspectives

Student-led conversations where experienced professionals answer questions about their career challenges and triumphs, share how they apply what they learned in undergrad to the work world, and offer industry insight.  It's a speaker series designed specifically for undergraduate students exploring the business world. This series connects students directly with experienced business leaders —primarily Stanford alumni—across industries who have navigated the career decisions facing students today.

Who should attend: Students exploring careers in business, finance, and related fields.

Why Attend:

  • Gain Real-World Insights: Learn firsthand from accomplished professionals who have successfully built careers in industries ranging from technology to finance and beyond. They’ll share their experiences, challenges, and strategies to help you make informed decisions about your future.
  • Engage with Industry Experts: Each session features a live Q&A, allowing you to ask pressing questions about career choices, MBA paths, and the evolving business landscape.
  • Limited space: The events are designed as intimate, interactive dialogues with experienced business leaders across industries and areas of expertise.
  • No application: Open to undergraduate and co-terminal masters students from across the university. Events are open on a first-come, first-served basis with priority for current BUSGEN students.

Pathfinder Workshops

Build business acumen. Apply your thinking to the challenges facing organizations today. Each workshop features an organization facing a business challenge. The workshop's goal is for students to apply their thinking to the challenge at hand. Students work in teams to generate solutions, share their ideas, and get input on their ideas from peers, instructors, and business leaders.
